For this WaterPitch! DC Water Startup Matching Extravaganza, we are excited to work with the American University including:

Our Event will be held at Constitution Hall on East Campus, which also includes the Don Myers Technology & Innovation Building, a state-of-the-art facility for scientific research, collaboration, and learning.

Built with sustainability in mind, East Campus aims for LEED Certification with efforts taken to limit the amount of greenhouse gases emitted, produce less waste, and increase energy efficiency.

NOTE: Please do NOT go to the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Constitution Hall near the White House (unless you want to walk down to the Tidal Basin to see the Cherry Blossoms!)

Public Transportation

1. Exit at the Tenleytown-AU Station and use the elevator or East Exit (and note the walk will be 1.0 miles to Constitution Hall).

2. Proceed from the exit downhill 80 feet to the bus stop at 40th St.

3) Take the free AU Shuttle (Blue Route): shuttles run every 15 minutes; you will not need ID; service begins at 6:10 AM. Real time bus tracking is available here.

4) Exit the shuttle at Kerwin Hall, the first stop past Ward Circle.

5) After exiting the shuttle, you will see Constitution Hall directly across Nebraska Avenue; cross the street at the light and enter the building from the interior of East Campus.

DC Metro Bus routes M4, N2, N4, and N6 stop at the AU main campus near the Katzen Arts Center and/or Ward Circle.

Driving

Pay-As-You-Go is parking is available for $2.00 per hour or $16.00 per day.

Remember your license plate number and pay immediately after parking.

Available in the Katzen Arts Center Garage or the School of International Service Garage.

Pay-As-You-Go Machines accept cash and major credit cards and are located in the elevator lobbies of Katzen Arts Center, East Campus Surface Lot, the Spring Valley Building, and the School of International Service. See parking map here.
